A Day at the Pumpkin Patch

Saturday, October 22, 2011

Last Friday I begged Addy to play hooky from school so we could go to the pumpkin patch. After a lot of begging (and a promise to take her to school when we were done), we headed out.

For those of you who live in the Oklahoma City area, this is the Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch (near Lake Arcadia). For more information about Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch click here.

Oddly enough there are very few pumpkins in those pictures. Too funny. They do have pumpkins, I promise. But the pumpkins are just an added bonus on the way out.

They also have numerous fire pits to roast hot dogs and smores! It's a blast. It's a laid back, real farm experience. There is tons of room to run and play, just like there should be on a farm.

We love Parkhurst Pumpkin patch! It's a favorite destination for our family every year.

  2. That's funny! He's still a little young. He'll love it next year. You're such a good momma for taking him.
