Winter Wonderland Part 2

Saturday, December 10, 2011

I think I'm still worn out from a long weekend. I came home today from filming New Director Training videos that we are getting ready for the new year to help new directors step into their leadership roles, and I crashed. Took a nap. I am not a napper on a normal basis.

So, tonight you're not getting many words. My brain is on overload.

Plus, your prayers for my dear friend's baby, Lucy Belle, would be greatly appreciated. She is very, very sick and needs prayers for healing. God knows the details, but your prayers would be so greatly appreciated.

Below you'll find the pictures of our Christmas decor from the stairs up (as promised) plus the new arrangement of our playroom/guest room.

Enjoy and thank you in advance for your prayers for Lucy.

The snow village is snuggled in the nook on the landing of our stairs.
My mom gave me her snow village last year, and it's a new family favorite.

The kids' bookcase at the top of the stairs.

We have a lot of wreathes! This one is on the door to the bathroom upstairs.

Addison's wreath.

Tree #1 in Addison's room.
The pink tree is made complete with Disney princess ornaments.

Addison's new frame gallery lets me easily add her own art to add to the holiday cheer.

Addison's favorite Christmas warmer.

Tree #2 in Addison's room. This is one of the four trees you can see
from the outside of the house through the windows.

Notice all her babies (and an elf) asleep under the tree. She loves to play here!

Luke's wreath.
Luke's tree. He also has a warmer in his room (it's the Silent Night Scentsy warmer).
I just forgot to take a picture of it.

The OU tree in our playroom.

Santa keeps the playroom smelling yummy.

The new playroom arrangement. The bed is behind the futon.
Addison was showing off a little.

The kids' kitchen and bookcase.

I love the ITSO storage boxes in the background. You can configure them to fit in any space
and the canvas boxes come in all kinds of fun colors. We found these at Target.

Having a little tea party.

Front of the playroom with a new TV on the wall.

The playroom door wreath.

Look! More lighted greenery! I know you're not surprised by that.

Bathroom tree.

I just had to take a pic of these sweet pictures from both Addison and Luke's first birthdays.

A shot into our den from the top of the stairs. Oh, how I love Christmas time!

.....day 120 of a year of writing.....
